How it works

Custom Fit

Each athlete receives a dental scan to create a custom fit Prevent smart mouthguard, equipped with built-in sensors to measure head impacts.

Head Impact Monitoring

The embedded technology tracks the date, time, location, severity, and direction of every head impact while in use.

Real Time Alerts

An embedded LED lights up upon head impacts that exceed the preset threshold, and the data is sent in real time via Bluetooth to the Prevent app, instantly alerting coaches, trainers and/or parents. 

Impact History Player Profiles

Every head impact is recorded in a digital player profile, giving visibility into an athlete’s cumulative head impact history throughout their career

How the service works

Subscribe via Shopify by completing the form and providing payment details. A dental scan day will then be scheduled with your organization.

Smart mouthguards will be shipped to your organization’s headquarters for distribution, starting a free 30-day trial upon arrival.

On day 31, your subscription auto-renews at $20/month. To cancel, contact Prevent by email or phone to receive a return shipping label.

Subscription ends when Prevent HQ receives a working mouthguard; no further charges apply. A $150 fee applies for lost or damaged mouthguards.
